We will continue to work on linking and state of being verbs, and finish the week with verb tackle direct objects AND learn the difference between transitive and intransitive verbs this week. (Pages 148 through 155 with additional worksheets as reinforcement) We will also create “Peace Similes” to focus on more peaceful ways for a troubled world…at least in our own little corner of that world.

This week we shift our focus away from plate tectonics to look at the other driving force that changes the surface of our earth: weathering and erosion! We'll look at the different types of weather, and see examples in the lab.

The second progress report has been CANCELLED, and we'll talk A LOT about the final requirements for science fair this week, with lots of important information being added to the website!
